QUALITY & FOOD SAFETY POLICY

Orient Resources Company is committed to:

• Assess the inherent food safety hazards attributable to the company's food products and operating processes and control these hazards to 'As Low As Reasonably Practicable' (ALARP) levels through continuous investigation, analysis, problem solving and prevention techniques;
• Research and comply with the requirements of relevant standards, specifications, ordinance, statutory and regulatory requirements, codes of conduct, etc., as applicable from time to time;
• Communicate and undertake all activities and services in the most efficient and effective manner possible, in terms of time, resources and cost, to maximise and improve upon client satisfaction;
• Provide resources and training as appropriate for staff performing activities affecting company products, services quality and food safety;
• Select and appoint suppliers who are competent to provide and maintain acceptable quality and safety controls of supplied products; and
• Monitor and continually improve upon the effectiveness of the IMS by conducting a scheduled series of hazard analyses, internal audits, data analyses, trend reviews and management reviews.

ALLERGEN POLICY

Orient Resources Company uses currently acceptable practices in connection with any ingredient that could be considered an Allergen. This includes any of the major group of allergens, including peanuts. Cross-contamination in manufacturing is prevented by adherence to standard operating procedures. Sanitation practices are validated by quality control checks to assure effectiveness of cleaning. Products are screened carefully for proper labeling prior to production and all known allergens are listed in the ingredients. Orient Resources Company will continue to monitor allergens as they apply to the Spices industry. As FDA policies change, Orient Resources Company will review and revise its allergen policy to comply with the latest guidelines.

CONTINUING PRODUCT GUARANTEE POLICY

Orient Resources Company guarantees the products comprising each shipment or other delivery, as of the date of such shipment, to not be adulterated or misbranded. All products provided are in good condition and are manufactured from sound raw material and their production is carried out under sanitary conditions. All products, at the time of shipment, are sound, wholesome products fit for direct human consumption or as ingredients for preparing food for human consumption after due processing.

Compliance with the above policies and the IMS is mandatory for all staff, who are encouraged to contribute to the continual improvement and upgrading of our system, in order to continue to identify, record and meet all client needs and expectations, to the best of our ability, at all times.
